BISMARCK - North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson submitted a formal letter of resignation to Gov. John Hoeven this morning.
The resignation is effective April 3.
Johnson, the state's ag commissioner for 12 years, said the decision to leave the office he has held since 1997 was very difficult.
