A West Central Tribune Minute feature story: The Milan Village Arts School is campaigning to purchase and preserve the Karen Jenson Trestuen Garden Gallery in Milan. The home of rosemaling artist Karen Jenson is described as "a masterpiece of design, color and Scandinavian art." It's the fruit of more than 50 years of her art, as well as a friendship with uniquely talented twin brothers Aaron and Arvid Swenson of rural Flom, Minnesota.
A West Central Tribune Minute feature story: Author Jennifer Rude Klett, who currently resides in rural southern Wisconsin, has written a cookbook that pays homage to her Minnesotan roots, including a recipe that she's adapted from her grandmother's treasured sugar cookies.

A West Central Tribune Minute feature story: For the 24th year, Willmar's Slumberland has given complete bed sets to families in need. This year 127 beds were donated to 13 charities which then presented the beds to families.
