Genetically modified crops are controversial, to say the least. Many Americans, both in and out of agriculture, feel strongly about them.
Now, the New York Times has published a lengthy article that claims GMO crops haven’t led to the big yield increases that supporters predicted. Monsanto, known for its GMO seeds, claims the New York Times cherry-picked data to reach a misleading conclusiion.
