If you're familiar with U.S. agriculture, you probably have a pretty good idea of where production of certain crops and livestock is concentrated. But these basic, at-a-glance maps, prepared from material from the most recent Census of Agriculture, can provide visual confirmation of what you already know or suspect.
For example, one of the maps highlights harvested potato acres. Northeast North Dakota, where I'm based, shows up as a national leader. I knew that, of course, but still fun to see. You might enjoy looking at how your state/area registers in production of crops and livestock in which you have a particular interest.
