Authorities ID man who fatally fell into northeast North Dakota grain bin

ARVILLA, N.D. — Authorities released the name of a man who died after falling in a grain bin Wednesday, July 3, in Arvilla.

The body of Kevin John Anderson, 58, of Aneta, was pulled from a grain bin at Columbia Grain in Arvilla on Wednesday evening.

While cleaning the bin, Anderson became buried under about 15 feet of corn, the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Friday. Rescue crews spent around two hours attempting to locate and remove Anderson.

He was unresponsive when he was located and was pronounced dead at the scene.
