ND Project Safe Send pesticide collections set

North Dakota's annual collection of unusable pesticides, Project Safe Send, will be conducted at various locations throughout the state in July. Pesticides include herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and rodenticides. The collections are from 9 a.m.

North Dakota's annual collection of unusable pesticides, Project Safe Send, will be conducted at various locations throughout the state in July.

Pesticides include herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and rodenticides.

The collections are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following area state Department of Transportation maintenance facilities:

- July 7 - Casselton.

- July 8 - Hillsboro.

- July 13 - Devils Lake.

- July 14 - Valley City.

- July 15 - Edgeley.

- July 16 - Wyndmere.

- July 23 - Napoleon.

Project Safe Send is a free service for farmers, ranchers, homeowners, applicators and dealers. The program is funded through fees paid by pesticide manufacturers to register their products in North Dakota.
