FARGO, N.D. -- Ziegler Cat at Fergus Falls, Minn., soon will remodel and double its building.
Dusty Schulz, branch operations manager, says the company had wanted to expand since 2008, but a strong and steady economy has made the timing right for the project.
Improvements will be made to customer service, Schulz says. The parts section will offer a larger variety and will change inventory sorting. An expansion in the shop area will allow staff to work on machines inside.
Pending final approval by the company, construction is expected to start this summer. The 18-month construction schedule will mean temporary inconvenience.
Fergus Falls city officials recently approved the building's encroachment on an easement for sanitary sewer lines.
