The coldest of the Arctic air will start moving out later this week, but it's still going to be plenty cold throughout the country.

Meteorologist John Wheeler says February will be the coldest period of the winter, and for the Northern Plains, it also will stay dry.

Areas to the south are likely to see substantial snow or rain in the upcoming week, but Wheeler told AgweekTV it will stay nearly "bone dry" in the north.
