Although the first half of the month was warm and dry, there was enough cool and wet weather during the second half to even things out nicely. The April mean temperature was 45.6 degrees which is just 1.5 degrees warmer than average. The warmest day was 76 degrees on the 14th and the lowest was 23 degrees on the 11th. There were no record highs or record lows on any days.

Precipitation (rain and melted snow) was 1.40 inches which is just 0.01 inches above average. There was one snowfall of 2.2 inches (officially) on April 26. Average April snow is 3.0 inches. Only 0.02 inches of precipitation fell during the dry first half of the month. Most of the rain and all of the snow fell during the cooler second half of April.
