As November comes to a close, it is also closing in on a record. November 2016, could end up as one of the warmest, and possibly the warmest on record.

So far this month, every day but one has been warmer than average. The other 25 have been warmer than average, by as much as 26 degrees. Since November 1, there have been seven days in the 30s, five in the 40s, six in the 50s, six in the 60s, and two in the 70s. Despite November being, on average, the cloudiest month of the year; well over half the days this month have been sunny.

The entire autumn season (September through November) has been consistently much warmer than average and may also end up as the warmest or one of the warmest on record. The final few days of the month will likely determine whether or not these records fall.
