Transatlantic trade talks are looking tenuous.
France's trade minister, adding his voice to the growing chorus of concern.
"What France is asking for is the simple and final halt of those negotiations. Why? Because they were started without transparency."
Germany's economy minister's expressed a similar sentiment.
Saying on Sunday the deal - known as TTIP - has effectively failed.

Both minister now at odds, with the official line from the U.S. government and the European Commission.
"Although trade talks take time, the ball is rolling right now and the Commission is making steady progress in the ongoing TTIP negotiations."
Analysts though are sceptical.
Under TTIP, critics say they'll be overpowered by U.S. multinationals.
Supporters disagree.
They say both sides of the Atlantic will be boosted by billions of dollars.
The White House wants the deal done by the end of the year.
But these troubled talks seem to getting further away, not closer, to conclusion.
