REGINA -- Viterra (TSX:VT) said Friday that it will increase the loading capability of in Provost, Alta., to 112 railcars from 56 and raise its storage capacity by 12,000 tonnes, to 29,300 tonnes.
The elevator is served by Canadian Pacific Ltd. (TSX:CP).
Construction is expected to start in the and is scheduled to be finished for the fall harvest period.
The company said the expansion will increase the number of 100-car loading facilities in Viterra's network to 36.
