AUBURN, Ind. -- A cattle truck overturned in northeastern Indiana, spilling nearly 40 animals and closing a highway for several hours.
Indiana state police say the crash happened Friday morning near Auburn, about 20 miles north of Fort Wayne.
Police say the truck driver was injured and taken to a hospital. DeKalb County sheriff's deputies were investigating the cause of the crash.
Some of the animals were killed or injured in the crash. Others were taken to the Dekalb County Fairgrounds to get them out of the way.
