FARGO, N.D. -- Larry Schnell, general manager and president of Stockmen's Livestock Exchange in Dickinson, N.D., says the July 8 tornado and wind storm damaged both the company's east and west facilities.

FARGO, N.D. -- Larry Schnell, general manager and president of Stockmen's Livestock Exchange in Dickinson, N.D., says the July 8 tornado and wind storm damaged both the company's east and west facilities.

Schnell says sales will be conducted only at the west facility for about month until repairs can be made.

The west facility sustained damage to a small feedlot and destroyed or damaged four buildings, crushing the water system in and knocking down electrical poles. The east facility lost a 40-by-200-foot building that includes a machine shed and veterinary facility, as well as some electrical service.

"The hardest part of it is cleanup, with wood and nails everywhere," Schnell says.
