HARROLD, S.D. - A Hughes County, S.D., farm exploded Aug. 8 and killed one man and two others.
Troy Hattum, 22, was severely burned and died of his injuries at the hospital after the fuel tank he was welding exploded Aug. 8. Chalan Hedman, 22, and Jeff Holshauser, 52, were taken to hospitals with burns, and their conditions are unknown at this time.
A building and mobile home on the property were destroyed.
