BROOKINGS, S.D. - The Southeast South Dakota Experiment Farm will host its Annual Meeting Jan. 31, 2017 at the Bridges of Beresford (601 S 7th Street) from 1 to 3:15.
The afternoon program will include a welcome from Al Novak, Chairman, Southeast Farm Board of Directors and the following presentations:
Soil Health and Productivity, led by Shannon Osborne, Research Agronomist, USDA-ARS;
No-Till in High Moisture Soils, led by Nick Vinje, Red River Valley Producer;
Soybean Seed Treatments and Cover Crops, led by Adam Varenhorst, Assistant Professor & SDSU Extension Field Crop Entomologist; and
Multi-Hybrid Planter and More, led by Peter Sexton, Southeast Farm Supervisor, Associate Professor & SDSU Extension Sustainable Cropping Systems Specialist.
