REGINA -- Saskatchewan's agriculture minister says he's unhappy with the outcome of a meeting with his federal, provincial and territorial counterparts.
Bob Bjornerud says he went into the meeting in Ottawa on Monday with several requests, including one for immediate support to assist cattle and hog producers.
Bjornerud says in a news release that he was also looking for changes to the AgriStability program.
The agriculture minister says he was hoping to make progress after the federal budget largely ignored the needs of cattle and hog producers.
But he left Ottawa disappointed because, he says, there was a lack of movement on the is-sues.

The comments come as the cattle and hog industries across Western Canada continue to struggle after many months of low prices and high feed costs.
