MORRIS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota’s Southwest Regional Sustainable Development Partnership (SW RSDP) is interested in hearing from individuals with ideas to improve food access and availability or strengthens community food systems. Seed funding is available to support projects that leverage active community participation and create a robust partnership with the University.
The SW RSDP is interested in innovative ideas to enhance access and affordability of locally produced fruits, vegetables and meats; further develop infrastructure requirements of locally produced food; or other ideas that support producers, aggregation, distribution and transportation aspects. The SWRSDP will support approved projects of $5,000 to $25,000. Project timelines can be a few months or a couple of years.
