ND Legislature names ag committee members

The North Dakota Legislature has chosen members for its agriculture committees. Both committees keep the same leaders.

The Senate Agriculture Committee again is chaired by Joe Miller, R-Park River, and vice chairman is Sen. Larry Luick, R-Fairmont. Other members are Sens. Jerry Klein, R-Fessenden, Oley Larsen, R-Minot, Erin Oban, D-Bismarck, and John M. Warner, D-Ryder.

The House Agriculture chairman again is Rep. Dennis Johnson, R-Devils Lake, with vice chairman Wayne Trottier, R-Northwood. Others on the committee are Reps. Bert Anderson, R- Crosby, Alan Fehr, R-Dickinson, Craig Headland, R-Montpelier, Tom Kading, R-Fargo, Dwight Kiefert, R-Valley City, Diane Larson, R-Bismarck, Alex Looysen, R-Jamestown, and Cynthia Schreiber Beck, R-Wahpeton. Democrats on the committee are Reps. Joshua A. Boschee, D-Fargo, Jessica Haak, D-Jamestown, and Alisa Mitskog, D-Wahpeton.
