EDGELEY, ND - Just as North Dakota Congressman Kevin Cramer and 17 other lawmakers send a letter of recommendation for President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, a North Dakota farmer is sending his own message to the sky.
Gene Hanson is known for carving messages in his fields. This week, the message is clear: "TRUMP NOBEL PEACE PRIZE."
Hanson says the project took him about an hour and a half. Each letter is 75 by 120 feet in size.
Another notorious project of Hanson's includes the message, " STAND FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM ." It was in response to NFL players and teams kneeling during the national anthem.
President Trump personally tweeted out , "Thank you Gene Hanson - a GREAT American (and farmer) who is standing up for our flag, our anthem, and our country!"
