HALLOCK, Minn. - Around this time of year many like to buy big boxes of fresh fruit, but this might make you think twice about it.
A Hallock couple found a scorpion climbing on their walls.
Richard and Peggy Gjovik say it likely came from a case of peaches they bought at a local grocery store.
They say they were walking to bed a few nights ago, when they spotted it near the bedroom doorway.
Instead of killing it, they put it in a plastic container.

Even though they caught it, they say it's made for some sleepless nights.
"It was a long night, it was a very long night. I did not sleep. I just thought, are there more in the house? Are they already in my bedroom? And I just did not sleep," said Peggy Gjovik.
An exterminator has since fogged their home and suggests people look through fruit containers before they bring boxes home.
The scorpion is still alive, and the Gjoviks say if anyone wants it as a pet, they can have it.
