ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Canola Council invites farmers to the sminar, Manage Canola Inputs and Watch Your Profits Grow, on Dec. 16, at the Roseau (Minn.) Community Center. The event is free to Minnesota and North Dakota farmers and university personnel.
Beth Nelson, president of the Minnesota Canola Council says, "We've put together an event that offers farmers the information they need better manage inputs and increase profits through new innovations, agronomic practices, and market analysis. Canola remains a very profitable choice for farmers in northwest Minnesota."
The one-day conference will feature 13 speakers providing useful information about canola. Among them is Mike Krueger of The Money Farm. Krueger provides grain marketing advisory services out of Fargo, N.D. He also serves as a senior analyst for World Perspectives, a Washington-based international agricultural consulting company.
Following the afternoon’s educational sessions, participants will get their holiday season off to a great start with a social hour, a funny money auction, and 11 chances to win 20 acres worth of canola seed.
