Minn. dairy farm worker killed after getting trapped in piece of machinery

MORRIS, Minn. -- A West River Dairy employee was killed in a farm accident at their facility in Stevens County in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 31.

MORRIS, Minn. - A West River Dairy employee was killed in a farm accident at their facility in Stevens County in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 31.

Stevens County Sheriff Jason Dingman reported that a 911 call was received about a farm accident at the facility just after 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Arturo Sanchez Posadas, 37, had been trapped in a piece of farm machinery inside one of the barns. Posadas was removed from the equipment and other employees began life-saving efforts. Those efforts were not successful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Also responding to the scene was the Stevens County Ambulance Service and Stevens County coroner.
