Man injured in equipment accident at Minnesota cooperative

BENSON, Minn. - A rural DeGraff, Minn., man was injured Thursday after accidentally being pinned between two pieces of equipment at Glacial Plains Cooperative in Murdock, Minn.

BENSON, Minn. - A rural DeGraff, Minn., man was injured Thursday after accidentally being pinned between two pieces of equipment at Glacial Plains Cooperative in Murdock, Minn.

The Swift County Sheriff’s Office said Brian Suter, 54, was pinned at the waist when a fastening device apparently broke loose while he was working on grain handling equipment. Workers were able to remove the equipment to get Suter free. He was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital by Kerkhoven Ambulance.

The Sheriff’s Office received the 911 call at 11:32 a.m. Thursday. Additional agencies responding were the Murdock First Responders, Kerkhoven Fire and Rescue and Life Link.
