FARGO - A local group will hold two events Wednesday to support the Great Plains Food Bank.
Ugly Food of the North, which aims to champion the use of edible but unaesthetic produce to cut food waste, will hold Ugly Food Gives Back from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday as an opportunity to participate in a volunteer project and tour the food bank located at 1720 3rd St. N. in Fargo.
Pints for Great Plains, set for 4 to 10 p.m. at the Fargo Brewing Company, 610 University Drive N., Fargo, will donate $1 to the food bank for every pint sold.
