Mike Faught has been involved since the inception of Big Iron 26 years ago.
His father served on the fair board for a number of years and also helped with demonstrations at Big Iron. The younger Faught assisted and for the last couple of years has been running things himself.
"I just enjoy working with people," Faught said.
Picking up knowledge about new machinery and new practices is something Faught learns by working behind the scenes. He's interested in making demonstrations at Big Iron the biggest success it can be.
Faught travels to other farm shows to recruit exhibitors. He also encourages farmers at Big Iron to talk to vendors at the booth to explain what they want to see and try at demonstrations.

"Seeing equipment and videos at the booth is one thing, but actually going into the tractor and setting up a little field demonstration is more realistic," Faught said.
There's definitely encouragement at Big Iron to "try it before you buy it." And, farmers can get their hands on almost anything, too.
"We're lucky, (several manufactures) still choose Big Iron to bring equipment for demonstrations," Faught said.
Green, yellow and red equipment will be working side by side, said Faught.
Global Positioning System equipment will be a large component of demonstrations again this year, as well as sprayers and guidance systems.
"Get out there and see what this equipment will do for you," Faught said.
