WINNIPEG -- Buhler Industries Inc. (TSX:BUI) says its net income more than tripled to $4.4 million in the farm-equipment maker's latest quarter, as revenue rose nearly 76 per cent from a year earlier.
Buhler's profit for the three months ended Dec. 31, the first quarter of its 2009 financial year, amounted to 18 cents per share. That's up from $1.2 million or five cents per share a year earlier.
Revenue rose to $57 million from $32.4 million, the Winnipeg-based company announced Monday.
