New products, model changes and innovative designs usually are unveiled during the month of August for major farm machinery manufactures. That means Big Iron Farm Show is one of the first stops that New Holland, Case IH, John Deere, Caterpillar, and AGCO will make to feature brand new machines.
New Holland
New Holland has quite a few new products to reveal to northern farmers in Fargo Sept. 11-13. Among the products are T6000 and T7000 series loader tractors, T8000 series row crop tractors, T9000 series four-wheel-drive tractors, BR7000 series round balers, and a SD550 narrow folding air drill.
Available to answer any questions will be New Holland product specialists, an area territory manager and sales and service managers.
New Holland offers an entire product line dedicated to innovation, performance and reliability, said Mark Madson, Territory Manager based in Fargo who serves the eastern Dakotas and western Minnesota.

Case IHCase IH will not only feature new products, but will also be celebrating a series of anniversaries in the company. Big Iron Farm Show is the kick off of the 50th anniversary of the Steiger tractor. On display will be the original Old #1 Steiger that the Steiger brothers built.
Case IH will also promote 30 years of the Axial-Flow combine by displaying a 1460 combine that still runs at harvest, but looks awesome, said Mark Jones, territory sales manager who serves parts of North and South Dakota and Minnesota.
Magnum tractors will celebrate 20 years and on display will be a new 335 Magnum. Case IH will also feature 10 years of the Quadtrac machine.
Other equipment will be new four-wheel-drive tractors, with increased horsepower. A 535 signature edition Steiger will be on hand that has a gold-painted hood and 535 gross horsepower. A new class seven, 7010 combine will be at Fargo as well as Puma series tractors (which are a size below the Magnum series), and a 24-row, 30-inch front fold planter.
Case IH also will showcase International Harvester with an 826 show-room condition tractor that once was used as a demonstrator.
At the demonstration area, visitors will have a chance to drive Magnum 215 with a lightbar and a 435 Quadtrac with Real Time Kinetics.
John DeereJohn Deere has several new products that representatives will bring. They also will demonstrate guidance products.
New equipment showcased by John Deere are the 9030 series four-wheel-drive tractors, 70 series combines and small-frame 7030 tractors. Implements on display will be a new five-section 637 disk and a 2310 Mulch Finisher.

Farmers at the ride-and-drive portion of Big Iron can experiment with Ag Management Solutions, John Deere's product line of guidance products.
Area field representatives and factory representatives will be stationed at booths and demonstrations.
CaterpillarCaterpillar, known for its line of construction equipment, will feature Challenger, Lexion, White Planters, Ag-Chem products, Wishek and Sunflower machines.
A special 20-year anniversary celebration of Challenger-tracked tractors will be held with an exhibit of a MT875 machine painted white.
A full line of Challenger products, such as combines, MT700 and MT800 track machines and MT900 wheel tractors and hay products will be on display.
Caterpillar will now be host to Kinze products in North Dakota and plans are to bring a grain cart, and possibly, a planter.
Another large machine exhibited by Caterpillar will be the Lexion line, including a new 595R combine. Also at Big Iron will be Caterpillar skid steers, Ag-Chem products, such as RoGator and TerraGator and implements from White Planters, Wishek and Sunflower.
Farmers will have a chance to chat with product specialists and AGCO, Ag-Chem, and Butler Machinery representatives.

AGCOAGCO, which stands for Allis and Gleaner Company is comprised of 19 brands of tractor, implement and engine manufactures.
Patrons of Big Iron will see some of AGCO's multitude of brands, but especially the popular AGCO, Massey Ferguson, Gleaner and Sunflower models.
Featured items will be combines, which include a R75, class seven Gleaner and a new 9895 class eight Massey Ferguson, which has 425 horsepower. Tillage equipment from Sunflower and planter equipment from White will be shown.
Of the tractors to be revealed will be an AGCO DT240 with Auto-Guide and a Massey Ferguson 7495 with a constantly variable transmission that accelerates from zero to 35 miles per hour without any gear changes.
Available at demonstrations is a DT240 with the constantly variable transmission, dual front tires, triple back tires and Auto-Guide. Farmers will have the opportunity to set program speeds of the transmission and program Auto-Guide.
