A sugar beet truck driver was seriously injured in a rollover crash early Tuesday near Borup, Minn.

The crash occurred at about 3:15 a.m. about 4 miles west of Borup, according to a report from the Norman County Sheriff’s Department.

The truck driver, whose identity has not yet been released, was driving a loaded truck, was attempting to make a turn at Norman County 39, when the truck rolled, according to the report.

The driver was transported by ambulance to Essentia Health in Ada, Minn., and then flown by air ambulance to a Fargo hospital, according to the report.

Ada is about 7 miles north of Borup.
