WILLMAR, Minn. — A Willmar man died early Tuesday, July 2, after falling from a grain elevator.
The incident was reported at 4:22 a.m. at the Farm Service Elevator, 3939 First Ave. S., in Willmar.
According to a news release from Willmar Police Captain Michael Anderson, a 56-year-old man fell from a balcony area over a grain truck and struck his head.
Emergency care was provided on site and the victim was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The name of the individual is not being released pending notification of family.
