FARGO, N.D. - Agweek is excited to announce a new partnership with the Red River Farm Network that will add Red River Farm Network programming to the WDAY 970 AM lineup beginning March 27.
We chose to partner with the RRFN because they are leaders in ag radio who know our region's farmers better than anyone else in radio broadcasting. They connect listeners to how food is grown and to the business of agriculture by talking directly to local farmers and ranchers while covering more than 200 agriculture events and shows annually.
Don Wick, Mike Hergert, Carah Hart and Randy Koenen report daily agriculture from across our region. Wick is a former National Association of Farm Broadcasting farm broadcaster of the year. Hergert is in the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Hall of Fame and is a former broadcaster of the year. Koenen, before getting into radio broadcasting, was a southern Minnesota farmer. Hart is a Missouri native and University of Missouri journalism graduate who was raised on a farm and has a passion for telling the story of agriculture.
Monday through Friday, WDAY 970 AM will air Country Morning Today at 7 a.m. for 30 minutes. Opening markets will air at 8:30 a.m., and market updates will run at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Closing markets will run at 1:30 p.m.
Agweek and WDAY 970 AM teams are excited to partner with the RRFN to expand our agricultural footprint for listeners and clients.
