FOSSTON, Minn.-A combine started on fire in rural Fosston Monday afternoon, a press release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

Just after 4 p.m. an early-1990s Case International Axial-Flow 1680 parked in a yard on 385th Street Southeast caught on fire, the release said. The cause of the fire is unknown but the combine was a total loss, the release said.

The Fosston Fire Department and Polk County Sheriff's Office helped extinguish the flames and there were no injuries, the report said.
