When looking to start a garden or improve your current garden it is best to start from the ground and work up. That's why University of Minnesota Extension local educators are presenting the "Gardening from the Group Up" webinar series to help you achieve your garden goals.
The free webinar series will take place May 12-15, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. day day. Participants must pre-register for the series to receive the webinar links.
The webinar series will cover a wide variety of topics that are important for any gardener to understand. On Tuesday, Katie Drewitz and Robin Trott will cover soil and soil testing; Adam Austing and Troy Salzer will present on fertilizer and nutrient deficiencies on Wednesday; Thursday, Troy Salzer will teach the concept of cover crops; and Friday, Claire LaCanne and Shane Bugeja will go over beneficial insects.
