Jeremy Fugleberg is South Dakota state news director for Forum News Service and NewsMD regional health correspondent, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A native of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Fugleberg was raised in Washington and North Dakota. He has a dual B.S. in journalism and political science from South Dakota State University, where he was editor of The Collegian student newspaper and was a Gilman Scholar at the American University in Cairo, and an M.A. in international diplomacy and commerce from the University of Kentucky's Patterson School, where he interned in Yemen with an organization that trains and equips women journalists.
