Dené is the Post Bulletin's region reporter, covering the greater Rochester area.

Before joining the Post Bulletin in 2022, she attended Kansas State University and served as an editor for the student newspaper, the Kansas State Collegian, and news director for Wildcat 91.9, K-State's student radio station. She earned a bachelor's degree in English creative writing. In 2020, she moved to Central Minnesota to work full-time as a local radio news reporter.

Dené also moonlights as the volunteer web editor for The Adroit Journal, a digital literary journal highlighting the voices of early-career poets and artists.

A farm kid at heart, Dené loves to get outdoors to hike and look for cool bugs.

The lawsuit alleges that three commissioners and Land Stewardship Project members conspired to appoint biased individuals to the county's Board of Adjustment. An attorney for three of the defendants called the lawsuit "all about politics."
The Rahes plan on selling lettuce, microgreens and herbs to individuals and restaurants around Southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa.
