KIEV - Ukraine has exported 9.8 million tons of grain in the first three months of the July 2015-June 2016 season, the agriculture ministry said on Thursday.
The total comprised 1.4 million tons of corn, 5.5 million tons of wheat and 2.9 million tons of barley, it said in a statement.
The ministry gave no comparative figures.
An additional 427,000 tons of grain has been loaded on vessels and should leave Ukraine in the coming days.
Agriculture Minister Oleksiy Pavlenko has said Ukraine could harvest about 59.5 million tons of grain this year and may export about 36 million tons.

Ukraine harvested a record 63.8 million tons of grain in 2014 and sold about 35 million tons abroad.
