NEW YORK - Speculators cut their net short position in arabica coffee contracts on ICE Futures U.S. in the week ended Aug. 4, while they boosted their bearish bets in raw sugar, U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission data showed on Friday.

The noncommercial dealers cut their net long positions in cocoa and cotton futures and options, the data showed.
