URBANA - Extension specialists at the University of Illinois and the University of Wisconsin are interested in discovering the methods soybean producers use to find and share information in light of recent technological and economic change.
"Extension is constantly adapting to advancing technology at the same time they are experiencing decreasing economic support," said Vince Davis, U of I Extension soybean specialist. "University Extension specialists are interested in adapting methods to meet the demands of growers and continually increase effectiveness."
Davis and Shawn Conley of the University of Wisconsin are conducting a survey to investigate the technology soybean growers and agronomic consultants use to find and share production and marketing information.
Soybean growers are urged to participate in a brief online survey. The survey should take less than 10 minutes, but will provide researchers with extremely valuable information, Davis said.
The survey is voluntary and information provided will remain anonymous. To participate.
