Cover crops are drawing more interest in the Upper Midwest, and now an online survey hopes to collect more date on the increasingly popular practice.

Cover crops are drawing more interest in the Upper Midwest, and now an online survey hopes to collect more date on the increasingly popular practice.

The survey -- conducted by the Conservation Technology Information Center and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program, the American Seed Trade Association and Corn+Soybean Digest -- will help growers, researchers, ag advisors, retailers and policymakers address questions about cover crops.

It takes a short time to complete. Farmers who complete the questionnaire are eligible for a drawing for one of two $100 Visa gift cards.

All answers are anonymous; respondents will be directed to another website at the end of the survey to enter the gift card drawing.
