The November All Farm Products Index is 183 percent of its 1990 to 1992 base, down 3.2 percent from the October index and 12 percent below the November 2012 index.
The price for all crops in the November index, at 191, decreased 5.9 percent from October and is 20 percent below November 2012. Index decreases for feed grains and hay and commercial vegetables more than offset price increases for oilseeds and potatoes and dry beans.
The index price of food grains, at 227, is 2.2 percent below the previous month and 15 percent below a year ago. The November price for all wheat, at $6.80 per bushel, is down 20 cents from October and $1.67 below November 2012.
The price for feed grains and hay, at 191, is down 6.4 percent from October and 37 percent below a year ago. The corn price, at $4.29 per bushel, is down 32 cents from October and $2.72 below November 2012. The all hay price, at $171 per ton, is down $6 from October and $19 from last November. Sorghum grain, at $7.42 per hundredweight, is 27 cents below October and $4.98 below November last year.
The price for oilseeds at 226, is up 0.9 percent from October but 10 percent lower than November 2012. The soybean price, at $12.70 per bushel, increased 20 cents from October but is $1.60 below November 2012.

The price of commercial vegetables, at 168, is down 13 percent from October but 0.6 percent above November 2012.
The potatoes and dry bean price, at 167, is up 7.1 percent from October and 16 percent above November 2012. The all potato price, at $9.03 per hundredweight, is up 93 cents from October and $1.64 higher than last November. The all dry bean price, at $39.50 per hundredweight, is down $1.50 from the previous month but 30 cents above November 2012.
The livestock and products price, at 172, is 3 percent above October and November 2012. Compared with a year ago, prices are higher for cattle, eggs, calves and hogs. Prices for milk, broilers and turkeys are down from last year.
The meat animals price, at 171, is up 0.6 percent from October and 6.9 percent higher than last year. The November hog price, at $64.70 per hundredweight, is down $3.80 from October but $3.60 higher than a year ago. The November beef cattle price of $131 per hundredweight is up $3 from October and $8 higher than November 2012.
The price for dairy products, at 163, is up 3.2 percent from October but 3.6 percent lower than November last year. The November all milk price of $21.30 per hundredweight is up 60 cents from October but 80 cents lower than November 2012.
