ND hay transportation assistance program disburses funds

BISMARCK, N.D. - North Dakota Department of Agriculture's Emergency Hay Transportation Assistance Program has disbursed funds to eligible producers for a portion of hay transportation expenses incurred between June 1, 2017, and Nov. 17, 2017.

BISMARCK, N.D. – North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Hay Transportation Assistance Program has disbursed funds to eligible producers for a portion of hay transportation expenses incurred between June 1, 2017, and Nov. 17, 2017.

Producers applied for nearly $4.1 million in assistance. The state emergency commission approved $1.5 million for the program. Producers should receive approximately 36 percent of their eligible application costs. Funding for the program is provided through the Department of Emergency Services.
