BISMARCK, N.D. -- The North Dakota Association of Soil Conservation Districts will hold its annual meeting at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck Nov. 18 to 20.
"We are happy to bring our convention back to Bismarck and the Ramkota Hotel," said LeAnn Harner, NDASCD board president. "We have a full agenda planned that will feature a diverse array of experts presenting on the latest trends in conservation."
The theme of this year's meeting is "the challenge of change." The conference will offer a series of educational sessions on topics ranging from soil salinity to water management. Individuals and districts also will receive recognition at the conference for their outstanding conservation efforts in their respective communities.
More than 400 people from throughout North Dakota are expected to attend the meetings. Local and state-wide media are invited to attend.
The NDASCD is a non-profit organization that represents North Dakota's conservation districts and the men and women who serve. Local districts work with landowners and operators who are willing to help them manage and protect land and water resources on all public and private lands in the State.
