Randy Dowdy has done it again.
The Valdosta, Ga., farmer harvested 521.938 bushels per acre of corn to take the top spot in the 2016 National Corn Growers Association’s Corn Yield Contest. The results were released this morning.
Dowdy, something of a celebrity in farm circles, has won a number of previous national corn and soybean yield contests.
