HELENA, Mont. — Montana has joined the long list of states with reports of residents receiving unsolicited packages of seeds that appear to have been shipped from China or other countries.
The Montana Department of Agriculture reports it is working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service to safely identify and dispose of the mailed materials.
Montana and North Dakota departments of agriculture also reported this week receiving reports of the mysterious seeds.
