KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Larry Schnell, managing partner of Stockmen's Livestock Exchange in Dickinson, N.D., has been elected vice president of the Livestock Marketing Association during the group's annual convention in Dubuque, Iowa.
Other elections include Jerry Etheredge, of Montgomery, Ala., who had served as the organization's president, being elected chairman of the board and Tom Frey of Creston, Iowa, being elected presdient.
The Livestock Marketing Association, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., is North America’s largest membership organization dedicated to supporting, representing and communicating with and for the entire livestock marketing sector. LMA has more than 800 member businesses across the U.S. and Canada. The group's annual convention, slated to last from June 6-10, includes break-out sessions, committee meetings and updates, as well as the election of 2018-2020 officers and directors. The convention is held in conjunction with the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship.
