WASHINGTON -- A onetime aide to the late Sen. Quentin Burdick, D-N.D., has been named vice president for government affairs for AgriBank FCB, the St. Paul institution that is the largest bank in the Farm Credit System.
Hicks will head the Washington office of the bank.
Hicks, an Oklahoma native and attorney, worked for Burdick and then served in the Clinton administration as deputy administrator for commodity operations at the Agriculture Department's Farm Service Agency. She recently has headed her own consulting firm and has been of counsel to The Advocacy Group.
