Earlier this week, we put out a call for our readers to send their favorite farm photos of 2017. We have had a wonderful response, and we'll share most of those with you in the coming days.

But we thought we'd offer a little preview in the way of highlighting the Schwartz family of Fisher, Minn.

Kristen Schwartz, who submitted the photos and some information, is an agriculture instructor/FFA advisor at local high schools, and her husband, Travis, helps out on the family farm.

This year, Kristen, who competes in breakaway roping, Travis, who competes in team roping, and their 7-year-old son Tristen all competed in the northern Minnesota Wojo Rodeo Circuit. All three of them qualified for the finals in the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minn., where Tristen won his first buckle riding mini broncs.

"Travis and I didn't have the finals we hoped for, but we were excited to get to compete as a family none the less. It gets a bit chaotic with all three if us competing," Kristen says.

The competition photos are by Little Red Arrow By Adrianna.
