CAIRO - Egypt aims to produce 80 percent of its wheat needs by 2018, state news agency MENA quoted the agriculture minister as saying on Wednesday.
The target is part of a plan to increase the production of strategic crops, achieve food security and reduce the country's reliance on imports, the minister said.
