Details of Rancher Relief Fund to be announced

A press conference will be held on Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at the Central States Fairgrounds Event Center in Rapid City, S.D., to announce details of the Rancher Relief Fund.

A press conference will be held on Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at the Central States Fairgrounds Event Center in Rapid City, S.D., to announce details of the Rancher Relief Fund.

The announcement will include an update on the Rancher Relief Fund, distribution process for donated funds to ranch families, application and nomination information for affected producers, and information about the collaborative effort of the livestock industry to build and administer the Rancher Relief Fund.

The South Dakota Stockgrowers Association, South Dakota Cattlemen's Association and South Dakota Sheep Growers Association, along with representatives from the Black Hills Area Community Foundation and representatives from the South Dakota Volunteers Active in Disasters will make comments and answer questions from the media.
