JAMESTOWN, N.D. - The North Dakota Soybean Council will hold an informational session on biodiesel in Jamestown tomorrow.
The presentation, planned for 8 a.m. at Babb's Coffee House, 100 1st Ave. S., is called, "Fueling Your Farm with Biodiesel."
The Soybean Council says biodiesel is a growing opportunity to support the soybean market, adding value to each bushel of soybeans grown on North Dakota farms.
Eric Lawson, of MEG Corp Fuel Consulting, will discuss the basics of biodiesel, recent changes to diesel fuel, the benefits of biodiesel, best practices for preventing fuel problems, diesel and cold weather, and more. The event also will include an interactive workshop with a question and answer session. The free event will include a light breakfast.
